Watching professionals play is one thing, but trying on the role of an esports athlete is something completely different. This weekend we invite everyone to the awesome Pro Play Brawl – experience the rush of competitive gaming firsthand!

The Rules

The main features of this activity are:

• No Aim Assist for anyone
• Players use one of the 7 weapon presets based on the preferences of professional esports athletes
• Everyone gets limited consumables, like in tournament games
• Respawn timers get longer if you’re eliminated often

The Gear

This time around, there are more guns and items than ever: we’ve included Sunburst, Orion and Icebreaker to the pro weapon sets, as well as some helmets and pants to the equipment you get. This should give you a good idea of how athletes play and how they feel on the battlefield. Give it a try!

The Ratings

What can be better than having fun on the weekend? Getting rewards for it! Take part in the Brawl Ratings, try to win as many maps as possible, and you will climb in the special ratings. Rewards for those who reach the top are totally worth breaking a sweat! 

The Challenges

Of course, any good brawl requires some tough challenges to go along. This time, we’ve come up with neat ones and hope you like them. Don’t be shy: test yourself and see how well you’ve mastered the game. Awesome prizes for completing all of the missions! 

The Predictions

As you know, the Gods of Boom ESL ONE Cologne event will be taking place this weekend, July 6-7. Once the semifinals on July 6 end, a special poll will appear in the in-game event, where you’ll be able to select one of the two remaining teams and cast your vote for the next Gods of Boom champion. If your prediction’s right, you get a unique weapon skin, as well as the right to tell everyone you can see the future (crystal ball not included).
