The eerie swamps around the town of Bogville are not welcoming in any light. However, when the full moon rises in the sky, these places give the chills even to the bravest gunslingers.
Not long ago, a truck carrying some strange top-secret fluid had an accident nearby. Rescue missions located the car, but none of the guards who were escorting it. However, just a few days ago, a local forester found a strange notebook that we managed to get our hands on. Some believe it’s a diary of a local witch, others say it’s hearsay. It’s up to you to decide whether to trust this document or not.

My evening was going fine until I heard loud crash noises from the swamp. Rushed there but the only thing I saw was a stop-light of a turned-over truck blinking just above the swamp’s surface. I found one badly burned man and took him home but not sure I can save him. At least with the power of medicine.

The stranger I rescued from the crash was getting worse by the hour, so last night, I decided to hold the ██████████ ritual to save his life. It worked and kept him alive – at least technically. However, I have no idea why his chest is glowing green — this is pretty creepy even by my standards. He can’t speak, so I still don’t know his name and call him my Toxic Beast. I think it fits for a Witch to have a friendly Beast at home.

Toxic Beast is feeling great, despite staying a beast and not taking human form. However, the ritual I used to save him did something to the people. Every night the townsfolk arm themselves and go out to fight in the streets! First, they just went crazy and attacked each other in a kind of Free For All format. Then they split into teams and fought like that. Finally, they started doing that Interception thing, trying to hold on to a pumpkin for as long as they could without letting it go. The next day, no one remembered a thing - amnesia. I really got to work on my spell-casting to avoid such side-effects in the future.

Halloween’s coming soon, and it looks like Beast is happy about it. He’s found a few holiday fairs with stuff he really likes: the Exorcist shotgun, the Undying helmet, and the Zeus machine gun. I’m not much of a gun nut, so I had to take a look in the good-old gunsopedia to learn more. Well, I got to say these weapons are a good match for Beast – they’re just as spooky and other-worldly.

As the town’s preparing for Halloween, we’ve got decorations and customization everywhere! Masks, insignias, and weapon skins all around are full of spooky themes. Beast can’t pick anything because he wants everything. Men, even the ones who were injured by mysterious goo and then magically reincarnated, are still boys.
The holiday vibe is here for good, and there are all sorts of challenges to go around. Completing them grants awesome rewards and makes Halloween even more festive. It looks like this party’s here for a long time: from October 15 to November 2.
P.S. The best thing about Halloween – I don’t need to wear a costume and disguise myself in casual clothes!
