Did you know that wombats don't have many natural predators? What they do have though, are buns of steel! If a predator becomes too persistent and follows the wombat to his burrow, the wombat can drive the offender into a corner and strangle it with a dermal shield on its backside, or worse — crush his limbs against the burrow wall. Pretty metal, if you ask us!

No wonder these cute and stealthy critters have inspired weapon engineers for many decades. We even had the good fortune to discover one of the pieces in the abandoned military base: the Wombat pants. Curious as to what these pants can do? Here are a few reasons why wombats and the pants are equally astonishing:

• Wombat pants have a perk called Munition Expert: the pants reduce the cooldown of ALL consumables.
• The pants also give you a Speed Boost, i.e., increase your movement speed for 3 seconds after you respawn.
• Wombat unlocks at level 1 for 500 fragments and can be upgraded five times at levels 10/16/22/28/34, for 50/100/200/300/400 fragments, respectively.
• Keep in mind, however, that wombat pants are available only in loadouts for Assault and Recon specializations.
