This shotgun was the most popular weapon among the cyber athletes in the Challenger Series last year – 90% of them chose Avalanche for their main loadout because of its high precision and stability, which helps to get consistent results. In other words, if you know how to handle a shotgun, you’ll do wonders with this piece! 

• Cold Welcome perk: deals freeze damage and reduces the enemy's movement speed if they are on fire
• Maximum damage dealt at 4 meters, minimum – at 9 meters.
• Average fire rate of 95 shots per minute.
• 16 bullets – 8 in the mag, 8 ready to go.
• The shotgun unlocks at level 22 for 1000 fragments and can be upgraded twice at levels 28/34 for 500/1000 fragments, respectively.

Avalanche made its first appearance at the New Year’s event 2 years ago, and since then was modified to make it an attractive shotgun for high-level battles and a worthy alternative to Porcupine. It doesn't have the incinerating perk, but it goes really well with the gear that does, has more bullets, and a wider range.
